Nominaciones Golden Globes 2021: finalmente conocemos los candidatos del año de la pandemia.

El 2020 fue un año completamente atípico, sin salas de cine abiertas, con el streaming convirtiéndose en estrella y las series ocupando un lugar privilegiado para pasar las largas horas de encierro obligatorio. En ese panorama, los premios que celebran en una misma noche a lo mejor del cine y la TV han seleccionado sus competidores luego de postergaciones varias.

La gran novedad es precisamente el streaming, enemigo acérrimo de las temporadas de premios que inesperadamente se convirtió en la opción lógica para estrenar producciones que se vieron impedidas de sus lanzamientos globales tradicionales. De allí surge que dos producciones de Netflix se coloquen en la cima, tanto en cine como en TV.

Entre los elegidos de la Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood, en materia de cine la lista la lidera Mank, de David Fincher, acumulando 6 candidaturas.

En cuanto a series, sin tener en competencia a Succession y Fleabag, las grandes ganadores de la edición pasada, esta vez The Crown resulta líder con 6 nominaciones. Le siguen Schitt’s Creek con 5, y The Undoing junto a Ozark con 4.
