Nominaciones Emmys 2021: los premios a la temporada televisiva 2020/2021 ya tienen sus candidatos.

Estos son los elegidos para pelear por el galardón más importante de la industria televisiva en el segundo año de la pandemia que provocó grandes ausencias y un descenso notable en el número de series competidoras (unas 100 producciones menos que en la entrega anterior). Es de destacar que los grandes ganadores de 2020, tanto en drama como en comedia (Succession y Schitt’s Creek), no compiten: una por no haber emitido nuevos episodios y la otra por haber finalizado.

The Crown y The Mandalorian han empatado en el primer lugar con 24 nominaciones, seguidas por WandaVision (23), The Handmaid’s Tale (21), Saturday Night Live (21), Ted Lasso (20), Lovecraft Country (18), The Queen’s Gambit (18) y Mare of Easttown (16).

HBO / HBO Max lideran las nominaciones por plataformas/canales con 130. Netflix tiene la segunda mayor cantidad de nominaciones con 129, y completando las cuatro primeras están Disney+ con 71 y NBC con 46.
