TEMPORADA DE PREMIOS 2016 Series nominadas: llegó esa época del año donde comienzan a aparecer las nominaciones a cuanta entrega imaginen. Y con ellas aparecen las polémicas, series que ni figuran, omisiones terribles, sorpresas por doquier. ¿A los críticos les gustó lo mismo que a vos? ¿Tu serie favorita pasó desapercibida? Nueva entrega de la asociación de periodistas de la tv norteamericana. Fargo, The Leftovers y Transparent acaparan la mayor cantidad de nominaciones: la serie de FX con 8, las otras dos con 6 posibilidades cada una. La entrega se realizará el 17 de enero en ceremonia conducida por T.J. Miller.

Los Globo de Oro suelen dar la nota y salirse con sorpresas varias. En realidad es algo que sucede generalmente en las categorías de comedia pues allí radica la mayor diferencia con, por ejemplo, los Emmys: incluyen algunas que todos obvian, les dan lugar a nuevas, premian lo independiente. Pero este año patearon el tablero y nos dejaron atónitos incluso en la categoría Drama con nombres que nadie pensaba ver ni en los sueños más delirantes y faltazos que hicieron indignar a medio mundo.

El gran dato de esta lista es la fuerte presencia de los servicios de streaming por sobre la televisión tradicional: en un movimiento que las cadenas no verán con buenos ojos, Netflix lidera las nominaciones con 8 candidaturas, superando a HBO -el peso pesado de siempre que incluso arrasó en los Emmys, lean sobre ello ACA– que logra 7 nominaciones. Por su parte Amazon obtiene 5 posibilidades y hasta se cuela Hulu con 1 chance. Si tenemos en cuenta la otra sorpresa, la cadena Starz que obtiene 7 nominaciones apoyada en la impensada irrupción de Outlander, los canales que siempre aparecían en las entregas han sido casi que borrados de un plumazo.

El gremio de Productores de Hollywood anunció sus 15 candidatas a ser lo mejor de 2015 en las tres categorías en que divide a las series (drama, comedia, documental). El próximo 5 de enero se completan las nominaciones con categorías correspondientes al cine y todos los ganadores se conocerán en una misma noche: el 23 de enero. Castigada la Tv de aire: solo 1 de las 15 le pertenece.
